Segatex 4.40 Released

Shintaro Fujiwara has announced the release of version 4.40 of Segatex, the Qt-based GUI front-end for SELinux. This release improves coverage of the semanage utility.

Reference Policy 20071214 Released

Tresys have announced the release of the latest version of SELinux Reference Policy. The main feature of this release is the merging of strict and targeted policy into one. If the unconfined module is present, the policy will behave similar to the old targeted policy, but with the strict policy roles still available. There are also many general fixes and updates, including a Russian translation of the man page, support for exim, and support for Debian syslogd-listfiles.

SLIDE 1.3 Released

Tresys have announced the release of version 1.3 of SLIDE, the graphical SELinux IDE. Notable in this version is integration with audit2allow, so that policy may be generated automatically from audit logs; and integration with SETools 3.3 to provide policy analysis capabilities from within SLIDE.

Segatex 4.00 Released

Shintaro Fujiwara has announced the release of version 4.00 of Segatex, his QT-based SELinux management tool. This version includes an updated look and feel, support for Fedora 8, and improved management capabilities.

SEEdit 2.2.0 Released

Yuichi Nakamura has announced the release of version 2.2.0 of SELinux Policy Editor (SEEdit). This release includes support for Fedora 8 and embedded systems. The performance of the simplified policy compiler has been improved, and it also now supports cross compilation of policy.

Segatex Suite 2.3 for F7 released

Version 2.3 of Segatex, a Qt-based policy tool, has been released. With this release, policy modules for applications may be created and managed via a GUI, using audit messages to generate the policy.

Segatex Suite 2.0 Released

Shintaro Fujiwara has announced the release of version 2.0 of his Segatex Suite, a QT-based policy analysis toolkit.

Reference Policy 20070928 Released

Tresys have announced the release of the latest version of SELinux Reference Policy. This release adds support for handling unknown permissions (to help with deploying new SELinux features), updated MLS policy from the evaluated LSPP version, support for a database object manager (in support of SE-Postgresql), and several other improvements and fixes.

Core SELinux version R070925 released

Stephen Smalley has announced the latest release of core SELinux userland code, with highlights including dynamic object class and permission discovery, per-command PAM configuration for the newrole utility, and several general updates and improvements.

First Release of SE-PostgreSQL

KaiGai Koehi has announced the first release of SE-PostgreSQL, with RPMS available for Fedora 7, and documentation in Japanese and English.
