KaiGai Kohei has announced the beta 1.0 release of SE-PostgreSQL. This project extends SELinux to the database, providing fine-grained, flexible MAC for managing information at the row and column level. Installable RPMS are available at the site for Fedora 6 and 7, as well as documentation in English and Japanese.
Tresys have announced the another release of Reference Policy. In this release, there are updates for Xen, Samba and many other existing modules, as well support for the unification of labeled networking policy. Yuichi Nakamura has announced the release of version 2.1.0 of SEEdit, Hitachi Software’s graphical editor for Simplified Policy Description Language (SPDL). This release includes several fixes and enhancements, and is now packaged in Fedora Extras.
