Fedora Core 5 and SELinux

Fedora Core 5 was released earlier today. This release carries some significant SELinux changes, including:

  • MCS (Multi-category Security) enabled by default
  • Integration of the new semanage framework
  • Loadable policy nodules
  • Transition to Reference Policy
