SGI CAPP/LSPP EAL4+ Certification Test Suite Released

The test suite is a component of their EAL4+ CAPP/LSPP certification effort for RHEL 5.1 on Altix hardware, and is based on previous IBM work.

SELinux Support for Ubuntu Hardy

HP Release Audit/MLS Certification Testsuite
by James Morris | Friday, August 17th, 2007HP announced the release of their Audit/MLS certification testsuite, which was used in conjunction with LTP as part of their RHEL5 CAPP/LSPP/RBACPP certification. The testsuite includes coverage of NetLabel/CIPSO, IPsec labeling, and CUPS printing.

by James Morris | Monday, July 16th, 2007Following the recent IBM evaluation, RHEL 5 on Hewlett-Packard hardware has now also achieved certification for LSPP, RBACPP and CAPP at EAL4 augmented. Notable here is the way that these certification efforts were community-based, with the vendors working cooperatively on the same GPL codebase, sharing development efforts.
RHEL on IBM completes EAL4+ evaluation
by James Morris | Monday, June 18th, 2007Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 5 on specified IBM hardware has now completed NIAP evaluation at EAL4 Augmented with ALC_FLR.3, against the LSPP, RBACPP and CAPP protection profiles. This is the first time that SELinux has been evaluated in this manner, and the highest EAL rating awarded to a Linux operating system.
